How AutoApply collects, uses, and protects your data.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, country), the career profile and CV you provide, your job-search preferences, the applications we generate and send on your behalf, and metadata about replies to those applications.
Your connected mailbox
When you connect Gmail or Outlook, we use OAuth — we never see or store your password. We request the minimum permissions needed (send, and read only when reply tracking is enabled). Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect your mailbox at any time in Settings.
How we use your data
To find matching roles, write tailored applications, send them from your mailbox within safe limits, track replies, and show you progress. We do not sell your data.
Your controls
You can export all of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion removes your data and disconnects your mailbox.
Security
Encrypted secrets, per-user data isolation, audit logging, and conservative sending guardrails. We never invent qualifications and never send to no-reply or bounced addresses.
